Blackline was selected as the Construction Manager at Risk for this new 9,000 SF renal dialysis facility. Due to unstable soils, the cast-in-place foundation is supported by nearly two hundred wood piles each over forty-five feet in length. Structural steel columns and beams support the portico, and engineered wood roof trusses span the full width of the building supporting a recessed well to conceal rooftop mechanical equipment. Due to an unanticipated need to relocate quickly, our client required that we complete this project in under 150 days. It took a great deal of coordination between all members of the design and construction team, but the building was delivered within the contracted time.
